Carousel splitter

Prepare PDF panels for a LinkedIn document post

Start with a tall PDF page and cut it into smaller pages in one downloadable PDF. If you choose an image, you get a ZIP of images to extract, not a document to upload.

  • Useful for long infographics and slide exports.
  • Create even panels with a grid preview.
  • Keep source files private.

Choose a file

Try a public example

Open the sample PDF, choose horizontal splitting and 3 rows, then download a three-page PDF. Check panel readability and current LinkedIn document requirements before posting. An image input produces an image ZIP instead.

How it works

  1. 1Choose a tall PDF for a document post, or an image for separate image panels.
  2. 2Set the rows or columns and check panel readability in the preview.
  3. 3Download and review the PDF. For an image ZIP, extract the images first; it cannot be uploaded as a document.

Useful for

  • Repurpose a long image as carousel slides.
  • Split a PDF export into readable panels.
  • Prepare visual posts without desktop software.

Outputs and limits

A single PDF containing one new page for each included segment. Each source page is cut using the same settings, in row order from top to bottom and left to right.

No. This tool prepares panels and downloads a PDF or image ZIP. It does not publish to LinkedIn, design a post, or check LinkedIn upload requirements. Images remain images, with no image-to-PDF conversion.

For a LinkedIn document post, use the PDF output. Check that it is no larger than 100 MB or 300 pages and that all pages have the same size. Image ZIPs must be extracted and cannot be uploaded as documents.

LinkedIn document instructions

Large files and dense grids can exceed your browser’s memory. Password-protected PDFs are not supported. Check the preview and downloaded result before using it.
